These paintings are some from the "Spectrum" exhibition. They were inspired by some rock pools I photographed on one of our many excursions to Merewether Beach
. The texture has been created using sand and small stones from the beach as well as glass beads. In these paintings I always add a few beads from an old necklace of green and clear glass beads that belonged to my grandmother - she was the first member of our family to live at Merewether.
